The Tiger Educational Foundation (TEF) will possibly award thirteen scholarships of $1000 each in 2014. These scholarships are available for Mobridge-Pollock graduating seniors who plan to enroll in a full-time graduate course of study at an
accredited two-year or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school. Two of the scholarships available are for graduates interested in Vo-Tech study.
Senior scholarship selections are based on academic excellence, extra-curricular activities, leadership capability and volunteer community involvement.
Forms may be obtained by contacting the MPHS Counselor. Completed applications must be typed and returned to the office no later than February 24, 2017..
Undergraduate students who are interested in additional learning opportunities receive grants from $50 to $100 per student to participate in a special field of study. This includes music, art, science, math and leadership camps/fairs for fifth through eleventh grades.
TEF’s scholarship program was established in 1992 when the first recipient, Jamie Leff Reister, received a $500 scholarship. As donations, memorials and other contributions have been received for the endowment fund, the foundation has used only the accrued interest to provide more and larger scholarships.
